The Plan Area
This plan focuses on Russell Boulevard from County Road 98 to B Street, and Howard Way from Russell Boulevard to the Memorial Union bus terminal.
About Reimagine Russell
More than 8,000 cyclists, 20,000 vehicles, and more than 13,000 transit riders travel through the corridor on a typical weekday.
Russell Boulevard plays a critical role in multi-modal transportation and a primary east-west arterial in Davis.
Ultimately, this project aims to create a comprehensive vision for Russell Boulevard as a dynamic, safe green space where new connections between residents and visitors can occur. The long-term vision and master plan will serve as a starting point for future design and construction projects.

Corridor Plan Goals
Create a community space for Davis residents, one that
community members and visitors can enjoy for years to come.
As bicycle infrastructure is improved and car speeds are calmed, public spaces will be creatively reused to promote a new cultural destination.
This attractive, flexible, and pedestrian-friendly promenade will cement Russell Boulevard as a regional welcoming space for gathering and socializing.
